We work different areas of theoretical quantum information. Our main interests are:

  • Decoherence and the physics of the quantum to classical boundary.
  • Quantum thermodynamics. The dynamics of phase transitions nonequilibrium and quantum effects in phase transitions, defect formation, etc.
  • Quantum information and computation.  Quantum simulations, quantum process tomography,  the study of quantum algorithms as dynamical systems, the study of potential physical realizations of quantum computers, quantum error correction, etc.
