Our ion trap had a short circuit. We had to open the vacuum and reapir it. Se a few pictures of the process.

The ion trap and vacuum chamber connected to the turbo pumping station for opening an re-pumping.
The removed trap with its shorted electrodes. The white ceramics have a silvery look from deposition of Ytterbium which created the short.
